Sydney Burnside

Sydney is so excited to be joining the SunBright Aquatics team for the summer season! She is looking forward to starting her university journey in the fall at Guelph University in the civil engineering program. Sydney has previous experience teaching swimming lessons at Back to Basics, and is passionate about sharing her love for the water and helping her swimmers build confidence, learn new skills, and have a blast during their lessons. Outside of the pool, Sydney is fascinated by how the universe works and always loved diving into the behind the scenes concepts of high school physics. When she isn’t teaching swimming, you can usually find her curled up with a great book or brainstorming creative stories. Sydney can’t wait to jump back into the water to create an incredible, fun filled summer for all her swimmers!
